Alan Kennedy OBE
Former CEO Alan Kennedy passed away on 20 January aged 88. Remembered for reviving the company and taking them into currency exchange as a relatively new endeavour.

Erich Reich

Former Tour Operations Director Erich Reich passed away last November aged 87. Remembered for creating several unique escorted tours for us in the 1980s, he subsequently founded a successful specialist tours company that raised considerable sums for charitable causes. He was knighted in 2010 for services to charity. We'll tell you more about his remarkable life in the autumn edition of the 2023 Bulletin.
Patrick (Pat) Boon

Linda Boon contacted us to advise the passing of her husband Patrick
Pat started work for Thomas Cook, Berkely Street, aged 15/16 after leaving school. He began at Berkely Street then worked at other London Branches, including Pall Mall, where I met him and we later married in 1972. Later, we moved out to California USA, where Patrick was Regional Manager of West Coast and Hawaii. Upon his return to the UK, he was an area manager based at Southampton. He was born 25th September 1945 and died 10th May 2022.
